This Episode: Impact The Quality Of Your Outputs
In today’s episode of Real Retail TV, we’re going to talk about two really important things: inputs and outputs. Discover what kind of inputs you need to get the outputs that you desire to build the quality of life that you deserve.
If there’s one thing I want for you it is to have the absolute best quality of life. In the comments section below, let me know the kind of inputs I can help you with to make that happen!
Oh course we don’t have the same imputs this year:
For me , no happy customers (we were closed for 8 months, I’m located In Canada), nos happy employees. No great day at work!
Only filing out forms for subventions, doing paperworks and trying to keep a smile on my face!
No imputs, no great energy!
Tough year!
I understand how hard it has been with your lockdowns. I would encourage you to look for inputs in other places since things have changed. Find books and courses that will keep your spirits up and help prepare you for a post-pandemic world. It’s coming!

Keep your chin up and stay in the game. When you follow your passion, the universe can sometimes take care of you.

My top “inputs” have always been books, webinars, and my masterminds:-) There’s never a lack of the opportunity for inputs for me but I sometimes have to remember not to take my foot off the pedal (except for vacations:-)
I agree there is never a lack of inputs! Here’s something to consider… I find it helpful to “take my foot off the pedal” because the inputs, the information, needs time to roll around in my brain for a while. Just a thought.
Thanks for your comment!
We’ve all been giving and giving and giving for so long, it’s exhausting. Teaching staff new protocols (determining those protocols in the first place), changing the business model to adapt to the current situation, changing it again in 2 weeks when things change. I for one just didn’t slow down enough to even think about inputs until I was knocked down emotionally.
Virtually all of my pre-pandemic “inputs” are on hiatus: traveling, finding interesting restaurants and spaces to work in for the afternoon, even having in-person board meetings. It takes real effort to seek out and find new inputs, but it’s worth that effort.

Nicely said Morgan!
Speaking of……I have your system and have worked with my store managers on the chapters of management, but am looking for more. Do you have suggestions of the best reads on MANAGING PEOPLE. So much that is written is for corporate settings and just don’t feel applicable. I have read “7 habits” and “How to make friends…” years ago, and I need to revisit. But anything else you would suggest that may be shorter, less time consuming for me and my managers read?
Yes, Harvard Business Review creates books on specific topics. They are compilations of articles that ran in the magazine. They have one on Leadership. I would start there.

Nice tan Bob
While I agree with everything you said, right now I wish I could just lay out in the sun and don’t come back in until the pandemic is over. It’s hard not to feel that I’m just in a holding pattern
Thank you, very helpful as always.
Thanks for the compliment on my tan (: I haven’t had one in a while. I love what Morgan said about having to work harder to find the right inputs, but it’s worth the effort.
